IFG Honored in 2023 Corporate Citizenship Awards

By

IFG is honored to be selected as the Corporate Champion for Health and Wellness for Sacramento Business Journal’s 2023 Corporate Citizenship Awards!

At IFG, we are committed to our core values of family and community, which we demonstrate through our philanthropic efforts. We’ve donated, raised awareness, and volunteered in a variety of ways – from supporting Compassion Planet, a non-profit helping aged-out foster kids, to fundraising for American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Our CEO Frank Ono even contributed his competitive fishing tournament winnings back to Acres of Hope Foundation, a program dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness for women and children. Additionally, every employee gets a paid volunteer day to do something meaningful in the local community.

In 2022, we concentrated our philanthropy focus on health and wellness – introducing an Out of the Darkness social media campaign to bring awareness to, open discussions about, and improve physical and mental health among our followers and employees.  Furthermore, IFG participated in the AFSP walks in Sacramento and Portland, and donated both corporate and personal funds toward their work.

IFG is committed to the well-being of our community and will continue to support and promote mental health awareness efforts. Visit our blog for emotional support resources and to read our personal stories about mental health.
